StaticQR is designed to generate static QR codes directly in your browser. We aim to keep the tool simple and privacy-conscious.

Information you enter into the generator

The QR code content you enter, such as links, Wi‑Fi details, contact details, text, or other information, is used in your browser to generate a QR code. This static website does not require an account and does not store your generated QR codes.

Logo uploads

When you upload a logo, the file is read locally by your browser so it can be placed inside your QR code. The logo is not uploaded to our server by this static website.

Compare, QR safety checker, and Extractor files

Images compared in Compare, images and PDFs uploaded to Extractor, images uploaded to the QR safety checker or Rebuilder, and live camera frames used for QR scanning are processed in your browser to reveal QR contents. They are not uploaded to our server or stored by this static website.

Advertising, analytics, and error tracking

StaticQR may display inline advertising through TinyAdz. Those ads are loaded by a third-party advertising script. The site code in this release does not bundle Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon code, or a third-party client-side error-tracking SDK.

Cookies

StaticQR itself does not require cookies for the QR generator to work. Your browser may store local preferences such as language or theme settings.
