Terms of Use

Terms of Use

Last updated: May 8, 2026

By using StaticQR, you agree to use the site responsibly and in accordance with these terms.

Use of the tool

You may generate and download QR codes for personal or commercial use. You are responsible for the content encoded in your QR codes and for ensuring that your QR codes point to safe, legal, and appropriate destinations.

Static QR codes

StaticQR creates static QR codes. Static QR codes cannot be edited after download. The QR code itself does not expire, but a destination link may stop working if the linked website, file, or service becomes unavailable.

No guarantee

The tool is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that every QR code will scan perfectly in every situation. Always test your QR code before printing, publishing, or distributing it.

QR safety checker

The QR safety checker is an informational tool. It reviews decoded QR content from uploaded images or camera scans and common URL warning patterns, but it does not guarantee that a destination is safe, trustworthy, or free from malicious content.

Prohibited use

You may not use this site to create QR codes that support phishing, fraud, malware distribution, illegal activity, harassment, or deceptive practices.

Advertising and third parties

This site may include third-party advertisements or external links. We are not responsible for third-party websites, products, services, or advertising content.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the site evolves. Continued use of the site means you accept the latest terms.
